Heritage Technology Solutions hits the links in Crete
For over 30 years, Heritage Technology Solutions (HTS) has been a trusted solutions provider for an array of Chicagoland companies. This past Friday, we joined a bevy of other business and community leaders for a day of camaraderie on the links in south-suburban Crete.
The event was the 37th Annual South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association Golf Outing - hosted by the lovely Lincolnshire Country Club and Lincoln Oaks Golf Course. It brought together mayors, city managers, and SSMMA members from southern Cook and Will Counties for a round of golf, a cocktail hour, a delicious dinner, and a silent auction.
After the morning’s energizing breakfast buffet - and sandwiched around a laid-back lunch at the turn - the event’s shotgun scramble provided ample opportunity for good-natured competition and plenty of laughs.
Representatives of HTS and key stakeholders from numerous businesses in the south suburbs mingled with SSMMA’s transportation, economic development, fair housing, and public safety facilitators. This wide range of participants was as diverse as the golf swings and putting strokes on display, but at the end of the day the event was all about charity.
Heritage Technology Solutions was proud to lend its support to SSMMA’s municipal management and planning initiatives by joining the likes of Comcast, AT&T, and ComEd in sponsoring the affair.
Attaching our name to one of the tee boxes was a way to show our commitment to the event, the Association’s efforts, and to those of the developers, municipal attorneys, educational institutions, and environmental, financial, and insurance firms who act as associate members.
In addition to participating as a sponsor, HTS had a 9:00 AM tee-off from the 17th hole. And, in a sign of a great things to come, our Lead Technology Consultant showed off his serious golf skills by scoring an Eagle.
All in all, a fun-filled day was had by everyone, and HTS looks forward to participating in the 38th edition SSMMA Golf Outing next year - almost as much as we look forward to serving you, our valued customer.
